 Soccer

Soccer is now one of the most watched. Soccer is now the world's most watched sport and brings in more viewers and revenue than the super bowl.

Religion

In the image above is the Metropolitan Cathedral in Mexico City and is a very popular tourist spot. This Cathedral is not only one of the most treasured architectural masterpieces in Mexico, but also one of the largest and oldest cathedrals in Latin America. It took three centuries to build, from 1573 to 1813, so it makes sense that the architecture is a fusion of the three different styles that dominated during its construction. Baroque, Classical, Neo-Renaissance. But even three centuries of development could not guarantee that the foundations were strong enough. Like the rest of Mexico City, the cathedral gradually sinks into the moving lake built on top of it.  An urban legend even claims that an underpass connects the cathedral to the neighboring Templo Mayor. best hearsay. However, the connection between the two structures is irrefutable. Almost all of the Templo Mayor stones are incorporated into the cathedral. It is even claimed that Spanish conquistador Hernan Cortés moved the first one.

Mole is a very popular and delicious plate in Mexico. Today's Mexican cuisine is a wonderful blend of local and Spanish cuisine. It is still based on beans, corn, tortillas and chilies, but is now usually served with some form of meat or cheese. Most dishes are also served with some form of rice and spices, with European influences. is clearly shown. Since colonization, many cuisines, including French, have influenced Mexican cuisine. The French intervened in Mexico in his 19th century and their food was enjoyed by the upper classes long after they left.

My Culture

                Day of the Dead

The United States celebrates the day of the dead and in Mexico we celebrate this but with a deeper meaning. During the day of the dead in Mexico it is a tradition in our culture to set up an “ofrenda” for relatives in the family who have passed away and these “ofrendas” contain items these relatives loved. This tradition is very well respected as it is meant to honor our loved ones.
